Sumitomo Heavy Industries, Ltd. has identified unauthorized access to a server operated by one of its overseas group companies on June 29, 2026.

Upon confirming the unauthorized access, we promptly implemented necessary countermeasures, including restricting and blocking external access to the affected network, and reported the incident to the relevant authorities. We are currently working diligently toward early recovery while investigating the scope of the impact with the assistance of external forensic experts.
