Sumitomo Heavy Industries, Ltd. (Head Office: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director, President and CEO: Shinji Shimomura; the Company) is pleased to announce that it jointly developed an in-mold coating and molding system for injection molding machines, called "IMPe (In-Mold-Plus eco)," with GIFU TADASEIKI Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Gifu-shi, Gifu; President: Norio Tada) and MEG-MARUKA KAKOUKI Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Miyoshi-shi, Aichi; President: Masayuki Nishikimi).
This system will contribute to the reduction of operating costs in the injection molding process and to the mitigation of negative environmental impact.
