Super High Response Injection Molding with SE-EV-S-SHR

Issues

Injection molded products such as light guide plates and smartphone housings are required to be larger and thinner. When molding these products with conventional injection units, filling time tends to be long due to slow acceleration and filling speed. As a result, solidification of resin progresses in a mold and high filling pressure will be generated. If the filling continued in this state, molding defects such as short shot and flash would occur.

Solutions

By improving filling performance compared to the conventional models, ultra-high speed and high response injection is achieved in SE-EV-S-SHR. The capability of reaching the set speed in a short time reduces the filling time, enables to fill before the resin solidifies in the mold and thus achieve filling in lower pressure. This helps to improve molding defects caused by thin-wall molding.
