Sumitomo Heavy Industries Ltd (SHI) current series of all-electric injection molding machine, The SE-HSZ-Pack and the SE-HSZ characterized by high speed filling and high cycle for the container market have been evaluated as an excellent injection molding machine with excellent environmental friendliness, such as reducing power consumption (minus 50 to 80% compared to the hydraulic machinery) and reducing the CO2 emissions by reducing the volume of the containers.
This time, SHI announces new release of Injection Molding Machine the "CT-6 spec" - demand from the market. By adding "CT-6 spec" to the base model SEEV-A-HD series, SHI propose high cycle molding with high cost performance, will respond to various needs of the container market.
1) Improvement of high-speed injection performance
Injection Molding Machine with "CT-6 spec" has an injection speed that can accommodate wide range of customers, ranging from a thin container, such as a dessert container, to a thick container, such as a cosmetic container, and can meet the demand of a wide range of customers.
2) Improvement in durability stability
High reliability in high cycle molding was achieved by improving the cross head's rectilinear performance (* 1) and the longer life of the toggle bushing (* 2).
3) Improvement of mold mounting capability
SHI have expanded machine's tie-bar spacing, and it is possible to mount a larger mold (* 3) than the conventional SE-HSZ-Pack and SE-HSZ. This will contribute to the downsizing of molding machines and the reduction of the installation area of molding sites with a wide range of products, thereby contributing to the effective utilization of space.
Note
* 1) By suppressing the vibration from the clamping operation, it is possible to operate clamping precisely
* 2) It becomes the sliding part of the mold clamping mechanism.
* 3) Compared to the 350 ton class, the clearance between tie-bars of the conventional SE-HSZ-Pack and SE-HSZ is 760 mm × 710 mm, while the clearance between tie-bars of SEEV- A-HD CT-6 spec. is 830 mm × 830 mm. This allows a larger mold to be mounted.
