Personal Information Protection Policy

Sumiju Yokosuka Kougyo Co., Ltd. (hereafter referred to as the “company”), recognizes that the protection of the personal information of our customers, stockholders, those we have business dealings with, and the company board members during the course of business is a very important responsibility, and strives to protect personal information based on the following policy.

  • The company will obtain personal information by appropriate, fair means, maintain the accuracy of acquired personal information, and manage it in a safe manner.
  • The company will not use personal information for any other purpose than that which is stated when the information is obtained.
  • Excluding situations where compelled by laws and regulations, the company will not provide personal information to third parties without the prior consent of the individual.
  • When outsourcing handling of personal information, the company will only provide such information within necessary bounds, and will require the vendor to manage the personal information and properly monitor it according to a contract.
  • In order to prevent loss, corruption, falsification, or leaking of personal information, the company will implement appropriate and reasonable information security measures to deal with the danger of unauthorized outside access.
  • If the individual wishes to disclose, amend, stop usage, or delete their personal information, the company will do so immediately within reason.
  • The company will undergo training regarding the content of the company policy on personal information protection and appropriate management of such information for board members, and ensure that the handling of personal information in daily tasks is thorough and appropriate.
  • The company will appoint an administrator in charge of personal information protection that will continuously review the content of the company’s personal protection policy and management system, working to maintain it and make improvements.
