HM-20 Cyclotron

Features
HM-20

  1. HM-20 Cyclotron is a fixed-energy isochronous cyclotron which accelerates negatively charged hydrogen ions as proton (H-) to 20 MeV and deuteron (D-) to 10MeV. Two (2) ports with each 4 targets are available.

  2. 15O is continuously produced from 14N gas by deuteron irradiation at low cost and it is possible to make a medical inspection by using 15O gas for blood flow, blood volume and oxygen metabolism. 18F2 gas is produced from neon gas also by deuteron irradiation and used for research at low cost.

  3. Maximum eight (8) targets are equipped.

  4. One (1) CRT can control Cyclotron, RI synthesis system and ancillary system. Operating parameter can be printed in hard paper as a production report and complies with GMP standard.HM-20 with shield

  5. Its accelerating energy is the most appropriate to produce a large amount of 18FDG and highly used radio-activity of 11C radiochemistry system. An advanced control system provides control of the cyclotron and radioisotope system. self-shield(abbreviated with S) is available as option.
