We have developed a new ion plating method that utilizes plasma.

Large areas can be consistently coated with this ion plating method, an achievement not possible with conventional coating methods. At the present time we are focusing on the indium tin oxide (ITO) coating for flat panel displays and we are currently developing mass production models to replace the conventional sputtering systems for commercial applications. As for the materials used for coating, in addition to ITO we intend to proactively expand the scope of applications by considering the use of silicon (Si), magnesium (Mg), carbon (C), titanium (Ti), and chromium (Cr), along with their oxides, nitrides, and carbides, as well as other alloys.
