The process pumps of the SHI Group play an important role in transferring raw materials during manufacturing processes, as well as products in the petroleum refinery, petrochemical, oil and gas markets. High reliability is required of these pumps, as they are operated under harsh conditions at all times, ranging from high temperatures to extreme low temperatures, as well as high pressures and low pressures, while in highly corrosive environments. The SHI Group has been delivering these pumps to key customers throughout the world, with delivery records for about 25,000 units in about 60 countries.

Features

Vertically split multiple stage double casing center impeller type pumps (BTBF type)

The BTBF type pumps are horizontal types, vertically split, multiple stage, single inlet (double inlet in the first stage for BTBFD), double casing, diffuser guide vane, center line support, center impeller type barrel pumps.
The BTBF (BTBFD) type pumps are suitable for high pressure, high temperature and high speed environments (low NPSH with BTBFD) and can be used in a variety of harsh processes and industrial fields.

    Designed to dimensions that comply with API682 and API610. Dual seals can be fitted with standard dimensions of the SHI Group.

Double casing diffuser upright pumps (CZ type)

The CZ type pumps are double casing, diffuser, multiple stage, upright pumps (API Class VS6). When the external casing is removed it becomes a submerged type pump (API Class VS1).
The CZ type is suitable for a low NPSH, as well as low temperatures and can be used widely in a variety of processes and industrial fields. NPSH can be adjusted with the addition of a column section.

  • These are heavy duty pumps that comply with API610.
  • Designed to dimensions that comply with API682 and API610. Dual seals can be fitted with the standard dimensions of the SHI Group.

    A spigot joint type flange joining structure has been adopted for the head, outer case, ball, and column, to facilitate easy maintenance.

    Stable operation is achieved through the optimized design of the drive unit bearing stand and pump case.

NSI type
Radially Split Single Stage Overhung Pumps
(API Class OH2)
A center line support has been adopted for these pumps, which are also usable under high temperature conditions.
BTBF (BTBFD) type
Padially Split Multistage Double Caing Between Bearing Pumps
(API Class BB5)
Suitable for high pressure, high temperature and high speed environments and can be used in a wide range of harsh processes and industrial fields. These pumps are also usable with a low NPSH.
HTB (HTBD) type
Axially Split Multistage Between Bearings Pumps
(API Class BB3)
A volute type casing has been adopted for these pumps, for easy removal of rotors, as well as for inspections. These pumps are also usable with a low NPSH.
MTB type
Axially Split Multistage Between Bearings Pumps
(API Class BB3)
A machine processed diffuser has been adopted for these high efficiency pumps, which can be used with small flow rates.
RTH type
Axially Split two Stage Between Bearings Pumps
(API Class BB1)
Suitable for use with a low NPSH, large capacity and medium pressure.
RTV type
Radially Split two Stage Between Bearings Pumps
(API Class BB2)
Suitable for use with low capacity and medium pressure. These pumps are also usable under high temperature conditions.
HDV type
Radially Split Single Stage Between Bearings Pumps
(API Class BB2)
A double inlet type impeller has been adopted for these pumps, which are suitable for use with a low NPSH and large capacity. These pumps are also usable under high temperature conditions.
SD-S type
Axially Split Single Stage Between Bearings Pumps
(API Class BB1)
A double inlet type impeller has been adopted for these pumps, which are suitable for use with a low NPSH and large capacity.
CZ type
Double Casing Diffuser Vertically Suspended Pumps
(API Class VS1 and VS6)
Suitable for a low NPSH and low temperature environment and can be used in a wide range of processes and industrial fields.
SIW type
Line-shaft Vertical Type Sump Pumps
(API Class VS4)
There is no need to prime, or eliminate air, since the impellers are arranged under water.
HPRT type
Hydraulic Power Recovery Turbine
When liquid is transferred from the high pressure side to the low pressure side, the rotating motive power is taken from the liquid pressure, thereby making it possible to utilize energy in an effective manner.
